The modification team will be based at MCAS Yuma, Az with potential travel requirements at other F-35 locations. This position requires the following:\nMaintenance tasks include conditioning aircraft for modifications, removal and installation of attaching hardware, component removal and installations, assistance with software uploads, and various system operational checkouts. \nTechnical requirements also include fault isolation, troubleshooting, and repair of system failures detected during operational checks associated with modifications and restoration of aircraft to flying condition subsequent to accomplishment of modifications and maintenance. Interprets and uses various test equipment and works from wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, job guides, and maintenance manuals. \nMust be willing to train and assist in multiple disciplines. Responsible for the performance of company programs/projects in support of customer requirements. Participates in the maintenance and logistics scheduling and execution. \nDevelops solutions to complex problems concerning support to assigned site. This requisition supports the aircraft modification and heavy maintenance program supporting F-35 program requirements. \n Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders. \n Verifies application/condition of installed LO materials for conformity to specifications and determines material and time required to perform repairs; removes, takes corrective action and makes reinstallations where design and modification changes.\n Candidate is required to regularly perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach. The candidate is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. \nOther Job Requirements/ Resonsibilities Include:\n* Sets up and operates various types of material testers and mixers.\n* Record data and procedural information for future use by others.\n* Improvises shop aids to facilitate fabrication, application or assembly operations.\n* Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.\n*Must be a US Citizen.
