Virtually every Space mission success starts with a strong foundation of facility infrastructure design, construction, and execution management, which is performed risk-free in support of business needs without interruption. On our Facilities team, you’ll have the opportunity to use your education and experience to take on interesting challenges and become an integral part of our team as we build new or redesign current, state-of-the-art engineering facilities.\nThis position will require innovative and agile approaches to ensure the reliability of mechanical/electrical infrastructure that produces cutting-edge space systems and analyzes trends while managing operational efficiencies.\nIn this role, you will:\nProvide technical support to the Facilities and Maintenance organization as a system.\nManage mechanical projects related to the Facilities organization.\nGuide site operations managers and engineers to maintain equipment and systems at peak efficiency.\nLead facilities condition assessments to develop project plans and maintenance optimization programs.\nContribute to sustainability initiatives within Workplace functions and explore Smart Workplace improvements.\nPartner with internal Facilities stakeholders, Operations and Maintenance, to help provide engineering support to upgrading and implementing Mechanical and Plumbing systems across the Pacific Region portfolio.\nProvide technical review for design, bid and construction documents and identify risks and provide mitigating actions throughout the project lifecycle.\nProvide capacity/demand analysis of utility systems and planning to support growth when required.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. \nMinimum of 3 years of proven experience. \nAbility to communicate technical requirements effectively across engineering, operations, and construction teams.\nMicrosoft Office Software experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).\nRead/interpret engineering drawings.\nDesired Skills\nMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of relevant building and construction codes/Standards.\nFacilities engineering experience.\nExperience in the design of HVAC systems.\nExperience working in a production environment.\nStrong experience in Building Automation Controls (ALC, Wonderware).\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $106600.00 - $198000.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
