Perform final preparation of aircraft, and the diagnosls, repair and rework of operational malfunctions or failures disclosed during preflight preparation, preflight, post flight, and/or actual flight and flight test operations for F-22 Flight Test at Edwards AFB, California.\n-Must be able to make complete final operational checks, rework,repair, adjustmenl and servicing of military aircraft.\n-Be able to use mechanic's hand tools, precision measuring instruments and special test equipment.\n-Structures repair to include drilling, reaming, riveting, removing stuck or broken fasteners\n-Aerospace Ground Equipment inspection and use for ground operating procedures such as towing, jacking, external power, cooling and hydraulic power application.\n-Must have basic knowledge of composites fabrication as it relates to structural modification.\n-Work to blueprints, diagrams, sketches, service bulletins, maintenance manuals and technical orders.\n-Drill, ream, countersink holes, install fasteners and rivets as required,\n-Performs final finishing, grinding and polishing of parts as required.\n-Proficient at removal, installation, repair and swaging of hydraulic tubing.\nBasic Qualifications\n-Experience with Launch, recover, pre-flight/post-flight inspection, refuel/defuel, hydraulic/oil/nitrogen servicing on fighter aircraft.\n-Experience working with Electrical System Ground Handling and Test Equipment.\n-Experience working with blueprints, diagrams, sketches, service bulletins, maintenance manuals and technical orders etc...\nDesired Skills\n4 years of flight line mechanic experience on 5th generation fighter aircraft.\n- Extensive structural repair experience on 5th generation.\n-Proficient with aircraft towing, jacking and servicing.\n-Aircraft modification & repair experience\n- Active security clearance\n-Structures repair with an emphasis on precision drilling on and off aircraft.\n-Flight test experience.\nPay Information\n$35.27 - $55.70\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
