This team covers virtualization, server operating systems (Windows and RHEL), databases (SQL Server and Oracle), patching, and content management through Red Hat Satellite. These solutions support global business needs across data centers, edge locations, and AWS and Azure public cloud environments.\n\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\nIn this role, you will transform how we develop and maintain compute infrastructure products at Lockheed Martin to meet the needs of every business area. You'll be aligned to a single Agile Delivery Team within the Compute IaaS Product Area. Your key responsibilities in this role include the following:\n\nDesigning and developing enterprise compute infrastructure products across on-premises and public cloud environments.\n\nCreating automated provisioning and maintenance solutions that reduce manual intervention and enable customer self-service.\n\nConducting solution testing for security, performance, reliability, and availability.\n\nDeploying solutions across on-premises, AWS, and Azure environments to support global business-area requirements.\n\nEnsuring adherence to corporate infrastructure processes, procedures, and standards, including Change Management, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning (DR/BCP), security, and government regulatory compliance.\n\nProviding operational support to resolve incidents, service disruptions, and outages.\n\nMeeting established Service Level Agreements for product provisioning and incident resolution.\n\nProviding technical guidance, mentoring team members, and sharing knowledge across the organization.\n\nParticipating in an on-call support rotation.\n\nFurther Information About This Opportunity:\nThis role is fully remote and requires US Citizenship due to system access. Flexibility in scheduling is required to due on-call support rotation. Occasional travel (1-3 times a year) may be requested.\n\nResponsible for development of IT solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation and support. Proficient in infrastructure, security, software development, database management systems, and systems integration. Develops using agile processes and common technology stacks.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nDemonstrated experience using scripting languages and configuration formats to create automated software or infrastructure solutions, such as Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell, JSON, or YAML.\n\nExperience developing infrastructure solutions in public cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure, and on-premises private cloud environments.\n\nExperience implementing DevSecOps practices using CI/CD pipelines.\n\nProven experience with Ansible and/or Terraform.\n\nFamiliarity with Windows and/or RHEL Server Operating System capabilities\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to lead technical solutions and provide guidance to other team members.\n\nAbility to support a flexibile schedule when needed\n\nUS Citizenship is required to to system access\n\nDesired Skills\n\nExperience with Windows and/or RHEL Server Operating System capabilities\n\nFamiliarity with virtualization solutions\n\nFamiliarity with RedHat Satellite content management\n\nFamiliarity with Enterprise storage solutions\n\nExperience working in an agile framework\n\nAbility to work successfully in a virtual team environment with a geographically disperse team\n\nExperience with paired programming and test-driven development processes\n\nPay InformationGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
