This includes pulling and routing cables, producing detailed design documentation (cable tables, rack drawings), traveling to customer sites to install and integrate hardware, and managing procurement of all required components and accessories. The role supports rapid, mission-focused delivery in a collaborative team environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nCable Management: Pull and terminate cables in server rooms according to design specifications and industry standards.\nDesign Production: Create detailed hardware designs, cable tables, and rack elevation drawings using CAD or drawing tools.\nSite Installation: Travel to customer sites, assemble rack systems, install hardware, and verify compliance with drawings and functional requirements.\nProcurement: Identify, source, and order all hardware and accessories needed for each project; track inventory and manage vendor relationships.\n Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence) and provide status updates to stakeholders.\nTroubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware integration issues quickly to minimize system downtime.\nTeam Collaboration: Work closely with systems engineers, program managers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.\nBasic Qualifications\nActive SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI\nMinimum 3 years of relevant hardware engineering or integrator experience (cable management, rack design, site installation, or procurement).\nProficiency in creating rack drawings and cable tables; hands-on experience with pulling and terminating cabling in data-center environments.\nEligible to work in the United States and meet any export control requirements.\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware issues rapidly and effectively.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nDesired Skills\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.\nProject Tools: Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence for tracking tasks and maintaining documentation.\nOperational Ground Systems: Exposure to ground-system hardware or aerospace-related hardware integration.\nTeam Dynamics: Proven ability to work as a collaborative team member in high-tempo, mission-critical projects.\nWork Ethic: Highly responsible, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality results.\nAI Prompting: Familiarity with AI prompting techniques relevant to hardware documentation, design automation, or procurement workflows.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
