Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.\nTroubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems using various tools and techniques, such as fault analysis, signal tracing, and debugging.\nRepair or replace faulty components, such as circuit boards, power supplies, or mechanical parts.\nPerform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, calibration, and testing, to prevent future hardware failures\nCollaborate with other engineers, technicians, or manufacturers to resolve complex hardware issues or to design and implement repairs.\nDevelop and implement repair procedures, protocols, and standards to ensure efficient and effective hardware maintenance.\nConduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of hardware failures and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.\nMaintain accurate records of repairs, including documentation of faults, repairs, and test results.\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related STEM discipline\nMinimum 5 years of professional experience, or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree\nExperience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF equipment, and other lab/test equipment\nExperience building custom cable assemblies\nAbility to work independently with minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches\nPrior experience managing labs and lab equipment with complex electronics systems\n• Track record of hands on experience\nDesired Skills\n\nHardware troubleshooting and repair experience in lab, depot, and production environments\nSolder experience\nThe ability to effectively communicate intricate technical details\nAn internal drive and desire to figure out and solve problems\nExperience in the design, development, and production phases of a contract\nExperience working across multiple disciplines\n• Familiarity with ISO/AS quality principles/practices\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
