And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.\nJoin us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.\nKey Duties & Responsibilities\nAnalyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.\nBasic Qualifications\nApply Industrial Engineering techniques to streamline production processes and reduce waste.\nPartner with Facilities Engineers to plan new production lines and factory layouts.\nSupport Manufacturing Engineers in developing standards and measuring shop performance against targets.\nBuild and analyze discrete event simulations to identify bottlenecks, resource constraints, and optimization opportunities.\nInterrogate and interpret production data to surface problems and implement improvements.\nSupport process improvement initiatives and ensure sustainment of results.\nCollaborate across all functional groups throughout the product lifecycle.\nDevelop actionable, data-driven solutions to optimize production schedules, costs, and efficiency.\nDesired Skills\nTo thrive in this role, candidates should have:\nIndustrial Engineering experience in a production/manufacturing environment.\nProject management experience.\nExperience developing, monitoring, and reporting metrics related to cost and schedule performance.\nExperience with forecasts, production schedules, and/or resource load staffing plans.\nYamazumi or work balance experience to drive improvement.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
