This position will support the production operations team at Santa Barbara Focalplane.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nYou will be providing industrial engineering support through capacity modeling, standards development, factory performance measurement and visualization, and improvement projects. This position also includes projects such as simulation modeling, factory layouts, facility expansion, MES development, Lean Six Sigma, and facilitating continuous improvement activities. This position will report directly to the site Operations Engineering manager.\nFor a level 2, we typically look for a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering disciplines.\nExperience with discrete event simulation modeling, machine and labor capacity analysis, or continuous improvement projects.\nMust be a US Citizen due to special access requirements.\nDesired Skills\nProficiency with discrete event simulation modeling such as Simio (preferred), Process Simulator, or AnyLogic.\nProficiency with capacity modeling and analysis such as equipment/machine utilization, tool rate analysis, max rate analysis, or throughput improvement.\nProficiency with continuous improvement initiatives such as cost reduction, HPU savings, schedule improvement, or quality/yield improvement using tools such as kaizen, value stream mapping, PFMEA, 5 Whys, or Fishbone diagrams.\nTrained in Lean Six Sigma tools and practices, and experience using statistical analysis.\nExperience with SAP and Apriso.\nExperience with SAP HANA, MS SQL, MySQL, or related database systems.\nExperience with Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Python, or Confluence.\nAbility to effectively communicate with data, data reporting, and data visualizations.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
