Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.\nOur facility in Littleton, CO has an immediate opportunity for a level 4 Manufacturing Planning Manager to join our mission. This role is based out of our Mechanical Manufacturing Center (MMC).\nSupports production, program, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of planning and schedule management in support of production planning and execution. Collaborates with program management, senior management, prod ops, manufacturing and industrial engineering to understand production spans and capacity. Provides leadership to production planning team of 6 to 8 schedulers and ensures: planning techniques are in place to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline and to perform schedule risk assessments; time-phased predictive analyses, critical path verification and schedule risk assessments are performed and coordinated; performance and health metrics analyses are utilized to drive actions resulting in improved performance. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition.\nBasic Qualifications\nMust have 4-8 years of prior experience in manufacturing, operations, scheduling and or logistics.\nExperience with production scheduling, capacity and critical path analysis, and material control in a manufacturing/operations/logistics environment.\nExperience using a scheduling tool such as Microsoft Project, Oracle, Primavera, etc.\nExperience using ERP systems\nExperience utilizing Excel to interpret data and drive action\nPrior experience leading a team\nExperience developing and leading projects\nExperience with MS Office suite\nExperience delivering presentations to senior leadership\nDue to work location requirements and programs being supported, U.S. citizenship is required\nDesired Skills\nExperience in aerospace or defense manufacturing operations.\nExperience managing material masters, BOM’s, EOQ’s and network requirements for manufacturability\nAbility to build and maintain a strong network or utilize their knowledge or experiences to influence solutions that benefits business partners\nAnalytical skills to establish, maintain and interpret key metrics to drive manufacturing processes\nDemonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve material and scheduling challenges\nAbility to work independently and without direct supervision\nStrong communication and problem solving skills\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
