Standard Job Description

The Item Analyst will serve as the primary conduit for delivering hardware in support of Development, Production, and Sustainment contracts. This role ensures timely, compliant DD 250 submissions, maintains accurate inventory control, and coordinates cross functional efforts across multiple Lockheed Martin sites. By managing the end to end logistics chains from receipt and storage to customer shipments the candidate directly enables mission critical hardware to meet contractual commitments and sustain the nations missile defense capabilities.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit DD 250 documentation to Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) for Defense Contracting Management Agency (DCMA) acceptance
• Lead Product Data Review Board (PDRB) meetings with Contracts, Quality, and Supply Chain stakeholders
• Track PDRB attendance, issues, and corrective actions
• Cross-functional coordination with Contracts, Quality, Global Supply Chain, Shipping & Receiving, and Production Planning & Control
• Communicate status updates to the Integrated Product Team, program leadership, and the customer across all sites
• Interpret contract terms, flag potential delivery impediments, and drive timely resolution
• Maintain accurate inventory using SAP/ERP (or other program's inventory management system)
• Perform receipt, storage, accountability, and shipment of contractor-acquired and government-owned hardware
• Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure compliance with Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) & Government Property (GP) regulations
• Generate weekly/monthly logistics status reports (e.g. inventory, shipment dates, outstanding DD 250s)
• Provide ad hoc analyses for sustainment planning and demand forecasting
• Identify process bottlenecks, propose corrective actions, and monitor implementation
• Participate in lessons learned sessions after major deliveries to capture best practices
• Full-time on-site support, occasional travel may be required

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to produce clear DD 250 packages and concise status briefs
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams across geographic locations

Desired Skills

• Prior hands on logistics, inventory control, or material handling for aerospace/defense programs
• Familiarity with government contracts, DD 250 processes, and working with government agencies
• Experience with SAP modules for inventory, material movement, and procurement data
• Experience with the Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) variant of SAP
• Knowledge of Contractor Acquired Property and Government Property regulations to ensure compliance
• Experience facilitating technical review boards with cross functional stakeholders
• Experience building reports/dashboards in Excel, Tableau, or Power BI

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
