Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems to support the production of high-quality products. The manufacturing engineer will support and interact with multiple teams and functions that include Production Operators/Supervisors and Manufacturing, Quality, and Industrial Engineers; and will be required to regularly interface with a broader team of Program Management and Design Engineering functions as needed.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nAs electromechanical assembly manufacturing engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to shop floor personnel, developing and improving manufacturing processes and work instructions, and analyzing and resolving hardware trends. You will also be responsible for recommending and implementing engineering design changes, training new manufacturing engineers, and supporting area-wide process improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:\nProviding mentorship, guidance and technical expertise to junior MEs.\nProviding tactical direction to execute critical long term projects.\nExecuting or coordinating complex Root Cause Investigations and Corrective Actions.\nProviding technical support to shop floor personnel.\nHelp facilitate data reviews to drive HPU and DPU reduction efforts.\nDeveloping and managing manufacturing processes and detailed work instructions.\nImplementing engineering design changes.\nSupporting area-wide process improvement initiatives.\nIntegrating new assets and technologies.\nThis position may require up to 10% overtime annually in support of program execution. The weekend shift includes a premium pay.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.\nAbility to obtain a secret security clearance so must be US Citizen.\nExperience in written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences\nExperience in supporting or leading teams of multiple functions.\nExperience in manufacturing environment.\nDesired Skills\n2 years of Professional Experience.\nGreen belt training or certification.\nExperience in solving complex problems.\nExperience of implementing changes for continuous improvement.\nKnowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or J-STD-001 specifications or equivalent.\nExperience with SAP, Apriso, and MPMLink/Windchill.
