# Manufacturing Engineer - Level 2

Standard Job Description Candidate will support the Production Integrated Product Team (IPT) as a process engineer assigned to a support process capability development and optimization for a specific product line as it goes through spiral development maturating into high rateproduction. Selected candidate to integrate factory process data of each spiral as it is produced to plan, develop and implement optimizations and efficiencies; investigate efficiency losses/issue corrective actions to establisha stable, repetitive, and high-rate production line. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the following: machining practices, reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and specifications; knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques. Must be a US Citizen ;this position will require a government security clearance. This position is locatedat a facility that requires special access. Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for advanced machining environments, with a focus on tool building and optimization.
