Successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring the highest level of efficiency, quality, and reliability. Experience with thru-hole equipment is a plus.\nAs a Manufacturing Engineer Stf. you will play a key role in driving process improvements and optimizing our manufacturing operations. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from process development and implementation to equipment maintenance and repair. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of process changes and provide technical support and guidance to production staff. You will be the functional lead for assigned thru-hole functional area.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nAnalyzing and optimizing thru-hole manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality\nExperience creating and maintaining comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and design specifications for fixtures and stencils\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes\nDeveloping and maintaining detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials\nConducting experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systems\nProviding technical and programming support to the team in regards to thru-hole placement equipment\nDeveloping and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and identify areas for further improvement \nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field\nMinimum 5 years of experience in a CCA, subassembly, and/or module manufacturing role, with a focus on process improvement. Direct engineering experience is a plus.\nStrong knowledge of mechanical assembly manufacturing processes, including equipment, materials, and quality control methods.\nKnowledgeable of tool and fixture design, procurement, and optimization.\nExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.\nAbility to walk up and down stairs, as well as stand for long periods of time, in order to access and troubleshoot equipment on the production floor\nPhysical ability to lift, bend, and stretch in order to perform equipment maintenance and repairs\nAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities\nDesired Skills\nMaster's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field\nCertification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related field\nExperience with data analytics and statistical process control\nExperience programming and/or troubleshooting thru-hole equiptment \nExperience with CCA cleaning processes and cleaning equipment.\nKnowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and MIL-STD-130\nExperience with automation and robotics\nProficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or SolidWorks\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
