Supports production forecast commitments, schedule changes and short range recovery planning. Uses leveling techniques and planning factors to optimize business performance. Oversees the master schedules, long range planning and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.\nDevelops a master production schedule (MPS) for assigned work centers.\nEngages cross-functionally with Manufacturing Program Managers, Shop Management, Production Controllers and more to ensure accuracy of the manufacturing schedules.\nRuns MRP (Material Requirements Planning) simulations for firm and anticipated requirements.\nSupports demand release process for “make” assembly requirements and firm plans in COS (Common Operating System SAP). Works closely with Manufacturing Program Managers during release and throughout the program as schedule changes are needed.\nSupports Manufacturing Program Managers with various scheduling analyses and is integrated into program execution teams.\nRuns material and manufacturing lead time analysis, checks for procurement short cycling, or other key constraints and works issues with Manufacturing Program Managers and Program Office.\nSupports the Long Range Plan of operations staffing for the Owego Operations site. Facilitates and maintains the sites program forecast and ensures staffing forecasts stay up to date with latest assumptions.\nSupports planning related audits and completes MMAS reporting as needed.\nDevelops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.\nTakes an active role in continuously improving planning methods, processes and tools.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors degree with 2 plus years of experience or equivalent experience\nUnderstanding of SAP MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system\nExperience in production scheduling, supply chain management, manufacturing, finance, or project management\nAnalytical skills\nStrong Excel skills\nEffective communication\nAbility to work in fast paced environment / self-starter\nDesired Skills\nPowerPoint presentation skills\nTableau experience\nAPICS certified\nLean Six Sigma certified\nCapacity planning\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
