Our team is responsible for planning and coordinating manufacturing activities to optimize inventory, material flow, and production schedules.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nAs the Manufacturing Planner Sr you will be responsible for driving Make/Buy decisions, maintaining MRP parameters, and ensuring timely material delivery to meet customer requirements. Performs the Make, Buy and / or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. Performs one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions. Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule. Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.\nBasic Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor's degree.\nExperience: 3+ years in manufacturing planning, MRP, production control, or shop floor operations.\n MRP & System Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems, including maintaining MRP parameters (lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks) and ensuring BOM integrity.\nShop Floor & Production Control: Strong background in coordinating manufacturing activities, executing production schedules, managing capacity requirements, and providing real-time shop floor support and expediting.\nSupply Chain Coordination: Demonstrated experience coordinating with Procurement, Operations Management, and Supply Chain stakeholders to develop time-phased procurement plans and ensure deliverables align with production schedules.\nAnalytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze production variances, optimize inventory to minimize cost, and execute corrective actions to preserve schedules.\n Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with ERP/MRP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent manufacturing systems) and data analysis tools.\n MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
