Our team is responsible for Final assembly check out maintenance and delivery of F-16 aircraft to our customers.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nAs the Production FACO APG, F-16 Technician Level 2 you will be responsible for Inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.\nThe Production FACO APG, F-16 Technician Level 2 will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:\nLanding gear\nPowerplants\nFlight controls\nFueling/Defueling\nAircraft movement/Launch & Recovery\n*Must be a US Citizen with Ability to obtain a secret clearance.\nMission essential functions and other duties may be assigned as required.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\nWhile performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed to perform job tasks. The employee is regularly exposed to vibration.\nThe candidate will be required to:\nComprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.\nUse hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.\nFrequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.\nFrequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.\nWork in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.\nProperly use, handle and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures\nBasic Qualifications\nCandidate must have 3+ years of related aircraft production, overhaul or modification experience on various aircraft systems such as landing gear, flight controls, disassembly, re-assembly, rigging or aircraft ground operations.\nKnowledge and experience of aircraft operating procedures, under power-on, hydraulics, or tethered utility feed system in order to perform system checkouts and troubleshooting\nDesired Skills\nF-16, fighter or military aircraft Flightline experience\nMilitary/Commercial aircraft assembly, maintenance and/or modification experience preferred.\nCraftsman level (5-level USAF) or similar from Navy, Army, Marines or A&P qualifications\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes\nAircraft Delivery Production Experience\nPay Information\nPay rate for this position is $22.64 - $40.87 per hour.\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
