Our team designs, builds, and sustains the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS), delivering world class kinetic solutions for our customers.\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\nAs an E&T Manager, the candidate will have shared responsibilities with the current E&T Manager for the management and development of their team, support of functional department initiatives and directorate undertakings, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution. For the management and development of their team, the E&T manager is responsible for providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and be the employees’ advocate in opportunity discussions. To support functional initiatives and directorate undertakings, the E&T manager is responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development. To drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution, the E&T manager is responsible for supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program. Some other taks may include:\nLead the mechanical focused team in daily tasking, design reviews, and CAM performance.\nPerform root cause troubleshooting and dispositioning of hardware (MRBE) issues.\nReview and approve requirements, drawings, and GD&T specifications.\nSupport program and technical reviews, preparing briefing material and white papers.\nCoordinate customer reviews, manage supplier technical inputs, and track schedule/risk items.\nConduct trade studies, develop Basis of Estimate (BOE) models, and write proposal content for new business capture.\nMentor junior engineers, assign work, and provide continuous feedback and career development coaching.\nOversee recruitment, training, performance assessments, and salary planning for the team.\nChampion engineering best practices, affordability, and customer focused execution across the franchise.\nTravel to Camden, AR or supplier sites as needed (occasional).\nThis position is in Grand Prairie, Texas.\nMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. An Interim Secret clearance is required to start.\nBasic Qualifications\nB.S. Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and at least 12 years of relevant experience\nEngineering team or IPT lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management, and/or employee development and mentoring.\nAbility to troubleshoot hardware and follow a specification/drawing\nCandidate must be a US Citizen with an active clearance or the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
