Our system will travel at Mach 5 (over a mile per second). Helping us build a system that goes that fast means overcoming a number of difficult physics and engineering challenges. You will be integrating hypersonic missile technology into an Army battery on a highly accelerated schedule to support the Warfighter. If this intrigues you, come join our LRHW team.\nAs a Mechanical Integration Engineer you will:\nResearches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems\nApplies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.\nDevelop mechanical interfaces for the tactical vehicle subsystems and components\nSupport mechanical design trade studies\nDevelop interface control drawings, subassembly engineering and tactical vehicle system-level engineering using CREO\nRegularly communicate with internal customers and program management\nDrive the development of hardware within cost and schedule constraints\nDemonstrates an outstanding work ethic and is knowledgeable across a broad range of topics in mechanical engineering\nPossess good process focus and is able to intelligently apply standard processes to real-world applications\nResearches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.\nMechanical design and/or integration knowledge\nExperience or coursework in drafting and ME design techniques\nExperience with Creo Parametric 3D modeling and/or CAD drawing software\nAbility to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance, US Citizenship required\nDesired Skills\n2 years experience of solid modeling using CREO 4.0 or similar CAD tool\nExperience with basic Engineering analysis and tolerance stack-ups\nKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\nAbility to work within multidisciplinary product teams\nAbility to handle multiple assignments and customers simultaneously\nActive Secret Clearance\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
