Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.\nAs an Orion Propulsion Engineer, you will:\nSupport the development, manufacture, procurement, test, and product certification for Orion Propulsion component products including valves, thrusters, propulsion control systems, engines, and associated tubing systems.\nMaintenance of the design configuration to ensure continued certification compliance for flight missions\nSupport Orion Propulsion subsystem integration and system level testing\nDevelop and/or maintain product performance specifications, statements of work, and engineering drawings\nReview and approve supplier data requirements and deliverables for Propulsion components\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university, or in a related discipline\nBasic knowledge, experience, or educations with Propulsion or Mechanical hardware components and hardware\nAbility to work in a collaborative and team-based environment\nExcellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills\nDesired Skills\nExperience, familiarity with Propulsion engineering principles and processes\nKnowledge of requirement definition, verification, and product certification for spaceflight\nExperience with CAD and release of drawings\nExperience with System and/or Subsystem Integration\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
