In addition to assisting in developing requirements, designing structures components through all phases of the development and production lifecycle, and bring designs, hardware, analysis, and test results through various reviews, into test flights, and on to production for D5LE2.\nNote: US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance\nAs a Mechanical Engineer on the FBM program, you will:\nSustainment of the existing D5LE fleet\nCreate and Develop test plans with appropriate IPT\nProvide technical inputs in required data products, proposals, and Technical Interchange Meetings\nDesign 3D models utilizing GD&T and drawings\nCollaborate with manufacturing engineers throughout build cycle\nExecute in a fast-paced environment\nCreate and communicate at various program reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, Working Groups, etc.\nEffectively communicate to various levels of leadership, inclusive of Navy counterparts, both technical and non-technical\nThe information below reflects the standard job description for this position\nResearches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
