We provide the resources, encouragement and focus and if you have the passion, we want to build a better tomorrow with you!\nAs a Stress and Dynamics Analyst, you will be responsible for performing preliminary and detailed level analysis of spacecraft flight structures and mechanisms, electronic components, and ground and test support equipment using standardized methods, and perorm dynamic analysis of Spacecraft structures to support component environment definition, acoustic analysis, response dynamics, and coupled loads analysis and support vibration testing of component, subsystem and vehicle level tests.\nResearches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or combination of education and relevant experience\nExperience with NX (Simcenter)/NASTRAN finite element modeling or equivalent\nKnowledge of and applicable experience with spacecraft or aircraft structural analysis methods, including classical hand calculations and experience with mechanical joints\nAbility to apply new and advanced analytical techniques necessary to perform structural analysis\nKnowledge of structural characteristics and the ability to generate free body diagrams detailing load paths through complex systems\nExperience performing dynamic response, random vibration and coupled loads analysis.\nUS citizenship is required\nDesired Skills\nDesired skills are the additional skills that help narrow down a qualified candidate list.\nA Master's degree is strongly preferred for this position\nExperience designing and/or analyzing aluminum honeycomb and laminate composite structures\nAbility to work in a collaborative and highly integrated team environment\nAbility and desire to assume ownership of tasks and drive to closure quickly and efficiently\nNon-linear, fracture& fatigue, and buckling analysis experience\nMechanisms, antenna, electronic component, ground support, hoisting, and test support equipment, and composite materials analysis experience\nExperience with Abaqus, Matlab, Mathcad, CREO and TeamCenter\nAcademic coursework in advanced mechanics of materials\nDynamic analysis and vibration test experience of components and space vehicle structures (Sine, Random Vibration, Acoustic) and CLA\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
