Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas.\nOur Troy, AL site is growing and we are looking for a Staff Mechanical Engineer to join our team!\nYou will be the Mechanical Review Board Design Engineer, Staff for the Air Dominance production team. Our team is responsible for assembly, integration, testing, coating, and packout of an Air Dominance missile.\nAs the Mechanical Review Board Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the production programs by identifying and resolving production issues, defects, and failures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement viable solutions, often in time-sensitive situations.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nParticipate as a key member in the Material Review Board (MRB) process, including reviewing non-conforming hardware for performance impacts, identify appropriate root cause and ensure corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence\nCoordinate effort within the Mechanical, Quality and Manufacturing team\nSupport weekly meetings to review status to leadership\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in an Engineering related field\nKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and ability to perform complex tolerance analysis.\nExperience with Creo design software\nRoot cause and corrective action experience.\nHave the ability to work with minimal oversight or supervision\nHave the ability to read engineering drawings, documents, parts lists and specifications.\nDemonstrated investigative effort and report status to interdisciplinary teams.\nActive Secret clearance is required, therefore you must be a US Citizen. \nDesired Skills\nPrevious Material Review Board experience\nExperienced with CREO, Windchill PLM and SAP\nKnowledge of composites, electronics assemblies or coating processes\nExperienced in a manufacturing setting including interactions with floor supervisors, technicians, and inspectors\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
