In this role, the selected candidate will work closely with site Facilities Engineering team to perform duties such as:\nPrepare bid sheets and contracts for construction.\nReview and estimate design costs.\nReview estimates for construction cost for adherence to design drawings\nThe successful candidate must be a US Citizen.\nBasic Qualifications\nInspect or direct the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.\nWork independently, under direction, and as a supporting member of the design team.\nMust be enrolled in an accredited 4-yr college program pursuing a degree in Engineering\nStrong knowledge of AutoCAD and architectural drafting\nExperience in other computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\nDesired Skills\nMechanical or electrical engineering student\nKnowledge of engineering design and construction\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills; enjoys to work as a team player in a creative, fast paced atmosphere.\nKnowledge in the bidding and review process\nKnowledge in project design, specification preparation and review, project scheduling, and some project cost estimating.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $22.66 - $31.67\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
