You will be supporting the application of a vast range of coatings to space flight critical hardware in support of our nation’s most ambitious endeavors.\nPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.\nMaintaining a high degree of safety and environmental awareness through the practice of safe work habits.\nUtilize and maintain the appropriate PPE for assigned tasks.\nProcess hardware utilizing both immersion in chemical baths and spray applications.\nRead and interpret manufacturing instructions, drawings, and materials list.\nMask hardware surfaces to meet coatings design requirements utilizing tape, plugs, and liquid maskant.\nSelect optimal racking method to minimize defects and minimize processing time.\nPerform daily organization and upkeep of assigned process area.\nHandle hazardous chemicals correctly and safely. Follow all policies and directions for safe use of and proper disposal of hazardous chemicals.\nBasic Qualifications\nMinimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.\nAbility to lift hardware into and out of chemical baths.\nAbility to work from engineering drawings and follow written and verbal instructions.\nBasic math and computer skills.\nFamiliarity with measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.\nDesired Skills\nExperience working with hazardous chemicals.\nKnowledge of industrial chemistry.\nFamiliarity with metallic coatings processes such as conversion coating, anodizing, passivation, and etching.\nAbility to mask hardware with accuracy.\nExperience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $47100.00 - $87500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
