In this role you will manage the daily calibration/production efforts for the Technical Services Building, provide guidance and support to subordinates, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders as needed to achieve collective goals.\nResponsibilities will also include:\nCoordinating subordinate employee training, performance assessment, work assignment, and recognition/disciplinary actions\nProduction management, metrics development/tracking, and leading process improvement efforts\nConcern and problem resolution with calibration laboratory internal and external stakeholders\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education\nDemonstrated Leadership skills and behaviors \nExcellent communication skills, including presentation skills and ability to address complex issues and solutions with senior leadership and customer stakeholders\nProven ability to prioritize and work under deadlines, handle multiple projects at once and align resources effectively to meet goals\nProficiency in MS Office\nUS Citizenship required with Interim Secret clearance required prior to start.\nDesired Skills\n5+ years managing a calibration laboratory\n5+ years leadership experience with medium to large groups of personnel\nExperience leading hourly and/or non-exempt personnel\nPrevious leadership experience at a calibration facility certified accredited to ISO/IEC 17025\nProven analytical skills, metrics, cost for lab and ability to operate/track within budget\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate with other organizations, associate contractors and our U.S. Navy customer\nDemonstrated change management skills\nSkilled in risk identification, mitigation planning\nExperience at a FBM field site\nStrong organizational skills\nStrong problem solving and conflict resolution skills\nStrong commitment to industrial and personnel safety\nActive Security Clearance\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
