Perform\ninspection and related functions involved in quality assurance and acceptance of Fleet Ballistic\nMissile systems, materials and surface support equipment. Knowledge of computer skills to\nperform work.\n\nWork with technical assistance and guidance or work independently with complete proceduresor written instruction after initial on-the-job instruction and guidance. Work with progressively\nless guidance and instruction as knowledge, skill, and experience in classification increases.\n\nAssist in and/or perform the assembly and disassembly operations involving such functions asconnecting and mating of the motor, equipment section, and interstage sections; removal and\ninstallation of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components,\nassemblies and units.\n\nAssist in and/or perform inspection of the assembly, disassembly, modification, repair, reworkand testing of missile sections, sub-assemblies, complete systems and subsystems; of the\nreceipt, shipment, handling, testing, altering, repairing, reworking and packaging of components\nand hardware.\n\nStamp or otherwise approve acceptable parts, tests, etc., and prepare or process paperwork asrequired. Reject items found to be discrepant or unacceptable and determine reason for\nrejection as required; prepare necessary discrepancy documentation for disposition of such\nitems.\n\nEvaluate test data, assembly, refurbishment processes and procedures, recommend newmethods, processes or procedures to improve quality assurance and quality control. Perform a\ncontinuous monitoring of all production and test activities.\n\nAssist in and/or perform the set up for and performance of tests such as Helium leak and motorpressurization. Assist in the repair or replacement of malfunctioning units, components or items\nrevealed by tests.\n\nBecome proficient in operating all equipment required to position major vehicle components andsupport equipment as required to perform necessary operations.\n\nAssist in and/or perform inspection functions for non-Production Partnership (P2) operations.Inspect documentation for proper completion. Perform blueprint review of support equipment\nbeing altered and hardware receipt inspections and other inspection activities as required\n\nAssist in and/or perform the handling and storage requirements of hazardous material.\nAssist in and/or perform modifications and repairs to support equipment. Assist MissileElectronic Technicians in performing missile systems tests using Systems Acceptance Checkout\nEquipment (SACE).\n\nAssist in repairing, fabricating, reworking, altering, modifying, maintenance and testing ofsurface support, handling equipment, and electrical continuity.\n\nAssist in inspection duties related to SAP Sig-Certs on DD250s and DD1149s, stamp ContainerHardware Identification Tags (CHITs) and Availability Designation Tags (ADT).\n\nAssist in Building surveillance to include but not limited to maintain temperature and humidityrecording devices, launching and downloading HOBOs, and launching humidigraph\n(Foxborough or similar). \n\nBasic Qualifications\nPossess knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, missilestructures and assemblies and shop mathematics.\n\nPossess general knowledge of inspection practices and procedures for acceptance of parts. \nAbility to use all types of measuring and inspection tools as required to perform assigned duties. \nAbility to work with hazardous material.\nAbility to read and interpret Company and customer specifications, procedures and regulationspertaining to the assembly, testing, storage and shipping of complete missiles or their related\nparts, assemblies and components as well as handling and storage equipment.\n\nPossess mechanical aptitude and the ability to use general purpose hand tools.\nSkilled in the use of computers and ability to learn new computer applications.\nAbility to obtain and maintain basic certifications required to perform ordnance/explosiveprocessing operations.\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a respirator certification and maintaincertifications/qualifications and/or licenses to perform assigned duties\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, with an Interim Secret required to star\nDesired Skills\nKnowledge of missile structures and assemblies\nKnowledge of ordnance safety and security\nDemonstrated ability to perform in a team environment\nStrong aptitude for attention to detail\nComputer proficiency\nStrong interpersonal skills\nStrong safety mindset\nPay Information\n$35.92 - $48.74\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
