You will ensure that the LM networks and IT systems are managed, controlled, and updated in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures. This includes supporting routine updates, major upgrades, and on-going maintenance and support of the network infrastructure switches, and network equipment. Work includes wired and wireless devices, solving complex switching issues, building and maintaining network diagrams, presenting changes to the appropriate boards, coordinating new installations and technical refreshes, and remote support of various related Aero sites.\nAs a team member of the ITxn NetOps team, this position applies established and innovative technologies to meet service and customer commitments for our Aero customer. You will support break/fix incidents and Service Central project work within the enterprise, the campus, and surrounding facilities. Additionally, you will promote adherence to all ITxn standards and process and procedures, and best practices of all ITxn managed and controlled network assets.\nFurther Information About This Opportunity:\nThis role is fully onsite in Greenville, South Carolina and supports several remote sites. It will include some off-shift hours, weekends, and occasional travel. The position also supports a 24 X 7 weekly on-call rotation schedule. US Citizenship is required due to program requirements.\nDesigns and plans network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network design. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.\nBasic Qualifications\nExperience supporting network infrastructure\nExperience with configuration of Cisco network devices (switches, routers, access points) and upgrading iOS. \nExperience/familiarity with Cisco switch installation, maintenance, and removal. \nCisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent experience in the industry. \nNetworking troubleshooting skills in enterprise environments. \nFamiliarity / understanding of TCP/IP, IP configuration, peer-to-peer networking and IP addressing and subnetting. \nSelf sufficient networking expertise with ability to work remotely or on site as necessary. \nFamiliarity with network diagram creation using Visio. \nAbility to create and present executive-level briefings. \nMust be able to support a rotational 24x7 on-call support model. \nMust be able to lift 35 pounds. \nMust be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time. \nUS Citizenship is required due to program requirements; ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance if needed.\nDesired Skills\nCCNP certification. \nSecurity+, CASP+, or CISSP certification. \nHands-on exposure and experience related to network troubleshooting and fault isolation. \nNetwork Access Control mechanisms like Identity Services Engine experience. \nKnowledge of fiber infrastructure, including patching and long-runs. \nFamiliar with Service Central or Service Now\nExperience managing networks, network management tools, and network monitoring tools.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
