This pivotal role serves as the technical lead responsible for planning, organizing, and executing engineering activities for technical capabilities integrated into the C2BMC Network Enterprise. Working within an agile team, the candidate will coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver mission-capable systems enabling ballistic missile defense at strategic, regional, and operational levels.\nAs the Network Team Lead, the individual will provide team leadership while representing the organization as the prime customer contact on significant technical matters. Accountable for the overall technical, cost, and schedule performance of the capability, the role drives the application of Agile processes and frameworks. This position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge missile defense systems that function as a force multiplier, globally and regionally networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensors and weapons to optimize performance.\nKey responsibilities:\nCoordinating planning, organization, and execution of C2BMC Network Enterprise engineering activities \nLeading agile team planning to ensure priority and maturity are achieved \nManaging assigned Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) efforts \nCoordinating and resolving spiral and capability resource de-confliction across Agile Release Trains \nMaintaining the team’s Hive structure with daily updates \nContributing to standard metrics packages for program execution status \nManaging risk mitigation, schedule planning, and change requests \nEnsuring compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements \nMaintaining clear communication with program and engineering management on status, staffing needs, and projects \nWho We Are\nAs leader of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin directs a partnership of highly responsive industry leaders developing and fielding the backbone of America’s missile defense. Together, this national team supports the design, development, test, integration and fielding of hardware and software elements that enable the Missile Defense System (MDS) to function effectively and continually. You will also have the opportunity to interface with our key customers in the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).\nBasic Qualifications\nHold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with nine or more years of professional experience, or a Master’s/PhD with seven or more years. \nMaintain an active 8140-compliant certification (Security+ or CISSP) and obtain a Project Management certification (Project+, CAPM, or PMP) within 60 days of employment. \nLeadership experience guiding high-performance teams through the design, development, and implementation of large Department of Defense systems and capabilities under development. \nHands-on experience managing complex network or infrastructure systems, including practical application of Agile methodology and DevOps implementation practices. \nExperience planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale program activities, including documentation, stakeholder meetings, test events, and capability deployments for major systems. \nExperience evaluating project and portfolio information needs, ability to analyze and optimize resource allocation, balance long-term strategic goals with short-term delivery, and effectively manage risk, schedule, and change requests within assigned responsibilities. \nA Secret Clearance is required for consideration. Must be a US Citizen. \nDesired Skills\nPrior C2BMC experience with knowledge of program processes and procedures \nPrior Team Lead and/or Product Owner experience \nExperience developing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and tracking other metrics, creating reports \nAbility to rapidly understand and evaluate new technologies for applicability to mission requirements \nDemonstrated success in coordinating complex technical efforts across multiple Agile Release Trains \nBackground in developing and tracking program performance metrics and dashboards \nExperience with digital transformation initiatives and DevOps implementation within defense contexts \nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
