Responsibilities include the development of forecasts for future requirements, engagement with program teams early in the life cycle to influence optimal acquisition strategy, issue resolution, monitoring/management of internal organizational performance and performance reporting to functional and program management. The PMM function also includes the monitoring of supplier performance, expediting of supplier deliveries when required and other strategic engagement activities. Additional tasks may be assigned as required by the programs and management.\nBasic Qualifications\nTo be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: \nBachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education\n1+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management)\nDesired Skills\nTo be effective, ideally, you should also have:\nKnowledge of LM Space Systems Programs.\nDemonstrated proactive/strategic approach to project management with a track record of success.\nPrevious experience with procurement processes and regulations under DoD (FAR, DFAR, TINA, and or ITAR).\nSupplier management experience.\nExposure to a category management environment.\nPossess effective relationship-building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers\nYou bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working collaboratively through the process.\nDemonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
