In this role you will work directly with one of our battery suppliers to provide Quality support.\nGeneral expectations: Manages the implementation and execution of program quality requirements. Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the programs life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and support. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Serves on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards; nominates risks and opportunities. Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented and current and implemented. Schedules and ensures assessments of program (e.g. quality audits). Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree or higher (Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education\nProficiency with discrepancy documents or SAP or other databases\nUS Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance is required\nStrong understanding of Supplier Quality processes\nDesired Skills\nMasters degree from an accredited college in a related discipline\nFamiliar with discrepancy documents/processes\nKnowledgeable regarding audit processes\nExperience engaging with external government customers\nExperienced with non-conformance (PR/MRB) requirements and systems\nExperience with manufacturing processes or quality or policies and/or quality systems management requirements\nAbility to work in a collaborative and team-based environment\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nPrevious experience with battery design or manufacturing\nActive Secret Clearance\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
