And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.\nJoin us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you\nWe are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Spacecraft Flight Cable and Harness Design team as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead and Cost Account Manager (CAM).\nThe team supports multiple lines of business at Lockheed Martin which means you could be designing wiring systems for the next mission to Mars or the next generation of GPS satellites.\nLocation: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.\nWhat does this role look like?\nProvide leadership on a fast paced team from requirements through development and production.\nBe responsible to assure coordination between functional groups during the product development life cycle.\nCommunicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.\nParticipate in technical reviews and audits.\nCoordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects (harness/cable) within area of assigned responsibility.\nHelp develop timely resolution plans for issues, compliance evidence, and all associated documentation.\nHelp resolve engineering and program execution issues quickly to support leadership and customer needs.\nMaintain an in-depth understanding of parts procurements, headcount challenges, and resource constraints.\nTo be effective in this role, you will need:\nFlight Cable & Harness design or production experience, having lead Program Design teams and been sought after as a Subject Matter Expert.\nExperience in Root Cause Analysis, having proven successes in leading investigation teams and implementing Corrective Actions.\n8+ years professional experience with degree.\nWhile no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\nTeam leadership experience.\nCost Account Management (CAM) experience.\nIntegrated Master Schedule (IMS) / Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.\nAbility to attain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance; thus, a US Citizen.\nDesired Skills\nProgram planning experience.\nExperience in using Zuken schematic/cabling drafting tool (or similar) and Creo 3D modeling tool (or similar) centered in model-based engineering.\nCollaborate with subsystems, survivability, environmental, and other specialty engineers to develop unique cables for various space products.\nCable and Harness production experience or working with production centers.\nExperience in presenting to leadership and customers in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
