Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college\nDemonstrated ability to work with technical leads to perform one or more of the following: manage cost, manage schedule, or manage technical scope\nKnowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs\nUS Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Final Secret security clearance\nDesired Skills\nExperience in one or more flight science (Aerodynamics, Thermodynamics, Mass Properties, Loads & Dynamics, Stress, etc.) disciplines with demonstrated ability to work with modeling tools appropriate to flight science discipline.\nProject management expereince \nExperience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment)\nPositive demeanor, accountable and responsible and able to work in a team-focused, dynamic environment\nDemonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change\nMissile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, with the ability to lead multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members and build consensus among peers\nActive Secret or Top Secret security clearance\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
