Standard Job Description THE WORK Lockheed Martin’s Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program is seeking a Senior Project Engineer, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Support, based in Huntsville, Alabama. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics activities across multiple functional areas to support program objectives. Key responsibilities include managing resources and schedules, coordinating cross-functional efforts, optimizing transportation operations, mitigating risks, and driving continuous process improvement. Project Planning and Coordination: Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required for logistics-related projects. Oversee multiple projects or actions, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely completion. Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with engineering, test, operations, safety, security, and contracting teams to align activities. Conduct regular status briefings and maintain a centralized information repository.
