Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nOwn overall engineering delivery for major programs, making sure performance, cost, schedule and long-term reliability goals are met.\nSpot and handle risks early. Identify technical problems, schedule and cost risks, and new opportunities; create and drive plans to address them.\nLead large, cross-functional teams to build integrated solutions and set the technical direction.\nBe the main technical contact for complex projects, quickly resolving issues and keeping senior leaders informed.\nCoordinate work across specialties. Manage scope, dependencies, and integration points between different engineering groups to keep the project on track.\nImprove processes and mentor the team. Follow existing program and engineering procedures, and identify improvements that enable team efficiency and execution.\nSome travel will be required (foreign and/or domestic) for this role.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science degree in Engineering.\n10 or more years of engineering experience.\nEarned Value Management experience.\nSecret security clearance.\nDesired Skills\nF-16 or T-50 Engineering Experience\nProject Management Experience\nCost Account Manager Experience\nExperience with Agile Planning\nExperience with JIRA, Tableau, and Confluence\nStrong Leadership and communication Skills\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
