And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.\nJoin us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.\nJoin Our Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Team as our IPT ProjectEngineer Sr Stf supporting the Avionics and RF Integrated Product Team (AvRF IPT).\nYou will work on the development and production of a sophisticated state-of-the-art Avionics and RF product in a world-class Integrated Product Development environment.\nYour key responsibilities within this role include:\nResponsible as the designated Avionics and RF IPT Control Account Manager (CAM) on both development and production programs.\nResponsible for managing, forecasting, analyzing, compiling, and reporting of periodic Earned Value Management (EVM) performance metrics to Program Leadership & Customers.\nCapable of integrating & interogating IPT-level schedules (e.g., desktop schedule, inch-stone schedules, return-to-green) with overall program objectives\nDrive the execution of overall engineering (artifacts/hardware) deliveries while ensuring, cost and schedule commitments are met.\nBe congnizant of technical problems but responsible of driving the schedule and cost risks mitigations plans and/or capture potential new opportunities;\nResponsible for coordinating work across engineering functions, manage scope, dependencies, and integration points between different engineering groups to keep the project on track.\nResponsible for generating and coordinating new business/proposal activities for IPT leadership review (e.g., initiating the planning, cross-functional coordination, scheduling, cost estimates needed for new programs/follow-on activities)\nLocation: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.\nThe information below reflects the standard job description for this position\nCoordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor of Science in Engineering or other STEM discipline or related experience \nExperience with product development life-cycle and/OR product management in a production environment.\nExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles (general EV metrics, ETC, Variance Reporting, CEAC, etc.).\nExperience with generating, interpreting, and modifying project schedules using tools schedule generation software (e.g, Microsoft Project).\nExperience leading projects and driving to timely delivery\nStrong organizational and time-managment skills\nDesired Skills\nAbility to manage multi-discipline engineering projects\nExperience in new business activities to include (but not limited to): technical writing, generation of ROM, BOE, EPP activities, etc.\nExperience with Electronics Developmentand/ORProduction Environment is a plus\nExperience with generation of engineering change requests (ECRs) and Change Process.\nExperience with risks, issues, and opportunity managemen t practices to include (but not limited to): identification, monitoring & controlling, mitigation, schedule risk assessment, etc.\nDemonstrated ability/resilience to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule and technical scope.\nExcellent written and oral communication, including ability to tailor messaging for senior executives and technical audiences.\nFamiliarity with workflows pertaining to electronics manufacturing, production, integration, OR test.\nFamiliarity of program start-up activities (e.g., OBS/WBS, technical planning, integrated baseline review)\nFamiliarity with management of supplier scope & program artifacts (e.g., schedule, cost, risks, etc.)\nKnowledge of material review board (MRB), failure review board (FRB) OR root-cause and corrective-action (RCCA) process.\nKnowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
