You’ll be responsible for aligning schedules, technical work, design activities, and project priorities across teams while supporting the resolution of engineering design and test issues.\nThis role connects engineering teams, program priorities, and business requirements to help keep complex work moving toward successful completion.\nKey Duties / Responsibilities\nLead the planning, organization, integration, and completion of engineering projects within an assigned area.\nDevelop and maintain engineering program plans, schedules, and priorities.\nDrive resolution to risks and issues that arise across projects.\nCo-create an environment where cross functional teams are optimizing around the hardest work in flight.\nProvide vital communication channel with DoD customers.\nReview system designs and related documentation for alignment with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and applicable specifications.\nOwn and drive project financial activities, including budgets, cost estimates, and cost tracking.\nCommunicate project status, technical information, priorities, and issues to relevant stakeholders.\nCoordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nProven ability to drive projects where multiple teams delivered a technical solution that contained a combination of software, infrastructure, network engineering, or hardware components.\nExperience using Jira or other work tracking tool, including the ability to create queries to surface the right data.\nExperience developing, maintaining, or coordinating project or production schedules and managing competing priorities.\nExperience supporting project financials, such as budgets, cost estimates, cost tracking, or related project controls.\nExperience reviewing technical or project documentation against applicable requirements, standards, specifications, or customer requirements.\nExperience managing risk across multiple work portfolios.\nProven experience presenting information to Director/VP level stakeholders.\nMust be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.\nDesired Skills\nMBA or advanced degree in Engineering field.\nActive Top Secret security clearance.\nExperience identifying, assessing, and mitigating project or operational risks.\nExperience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tools.\nExperience developing and delivering customer-facing briefings and presentations.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
