Supports programs, projects, products, services and off-site operations in compliance with government regulations and contractual commitments.\nThe Purchasing & Material Administration Analyst Associate supports the flow of materials through the supply chain by coordinating with Receiving, Quality, Planning, Procurement, and suppliers to ensure accurate, timely movement and resolution of material-related issues. This role assists in the planning, control, and distribution of parts, assemblies, and equipment required to support production and operational needs. Responsibilities include monitoring inbound material, validating receipts, identifying discrepancies, initiating digital workflows (such as StOP) for resolution, and ensuring proper documentation within enterprise systems.\nThe analyst helps maintain data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems, supports supplier communication related to material issues, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts that enhance material availability, reduce delays, and strengthen process reliability. This position plays a key role in supporting program execution, customer commitments, and 1LMX-aligned digital transformation initiatives across the supply chain.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in accredited college or university; or equivalent experience/combined education\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately\nProficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment supporting production and logistics needs\nEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Planning, Receiving, Procurement, etc.)\nDemonstrated attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and documentation\nAbility to learn and use enterprise systems (ERP/MRP, digital workflow tools, etc.)\nDesired Skills\nExperience with supply chain, purchasing, receiving, or material management processes\nFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP (material movement, goods receipts, PO review, discrepancy resolution)\nUnderstanding of material flow, receiving processes, and non-conformance/documentation protocols\nExperience creating or managing case-based workflows (e.g., StOP, discrepancy tickets, supplier issues)\nAbility to analyze data to identify recurring material or supplier issues\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines\nAbility to interact professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive timely issue resolution\nInterest in continuous improvement, digital transformation, and standardization (1LMX mindset)\nAbility to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment\nStrong customer service approach when partnering with Receiving, Planning, and Production Operations\nPay Information\nGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States.
