Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.\nBasic Qualifications\nBechlors degree or higher in STEM\nMust have ability to obtain a security clearance\nDemonstrated understanding of audit techniques\nA strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\nMust have knowledge and understanding of critical design attributes\nStrong understanding of engineering requirements and mechanical and electrical inspection methods - ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE processes, and related Performance Metrics\nExperience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements\nExperience with control and disposition of non- conforming Material (Material Review Board)\nCapable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems utilizing causal analysis tools\nMust be able to identify and document supplier's quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective actions are identified and implemented\nAn understanding and knowledge of special processes and an overall understanding of how to manage and interface with suppliers daily to support the Program\nDesired Skills\nASQ Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt/Black Belt)Strong familiarity with New Product Development\nAbility to certify/approve a supplier to perform specified / special processes\nStrong understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems\nExperience with source inspection and surveillance activities at suppliers\nDemonstrated Leadership and Customer Relationship Management skills\nEarned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) certification\nIndividual should be a self-starter who can work autonomously with minimal direction\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment\nStrong communication skills (both oral and written)\nMust be able to effectively communicate and interact with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Government Representatives, and other stakeholders\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
