Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree and higher from an accredited college in technical disciplines (e.g. engineering field) or equivalent combined education/experience.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes.\nAbility to obtain Public Trust security clearance and US Citizenship required.\nDesired Skills\nStrong quality test support background.\nFamiliarity with Automation Framework.\nExperience in Manufacturing or Quality engineering position\nThe ability to work an evolving shift schedule that will include weekend and off-shift hours, as required to support program objectives.\nKnowledge of Quality Systems and Processes\nAbility to develop performance metrics using Microsoft Excel and take appropriate action\nDemonstrated knowledge of non-conformance handling and disposition.\nExperience with human spaceflight NASA/DCMA customers\nExperience with working in an Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO) and Production environment\nExperience in Design/Test Readiness/Manufacturing Readiness Reviews\nCertified in lean, six-sigma quality engineering methodologies and root cause corrective action training/certification\nKnowledge of SAP operating systems, Automation Framework, EPDM, P2P, and VECAMS\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings and/ or technical specifications.\nASQE certified\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
