Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.\nBasic Qualifications\nTo be successful in this role you will need to possess the following requirements:\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., Chemical, Electrical,Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering)\nKnowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation\nAbility to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications\nRoot Cause Analysis experience\nDemonstrates thorough attention to detail\nRequired to work off shifts, overtime and nonstandard work weeks as needed to meet product deliveries\nDesired Skills\nExperience with PR/MRB process (PR/QMRB certification preferred)\nExperience driving robust Corrective Actions Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA certification preferred)\nExperience working independently with customers and suppliers\nExperience creating and modifying Receiving Inspection Plans\nGreen Belt Trained and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)\nTeam lead or formal leadership experience\nUnderstands lean manufacturing and quality optimization in a production environment\nExperience with SAP, P2P, VECAMS, and data\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
