Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures. Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action. Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements. Develops strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Evaluates quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts product quality tests, performs statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Engages in supplier selection process and maintain certification programs.\nBasic Qualifications\n· Advanced understanding and experience completing root\ncause analysis and corrective action planning.\n· Knowledgeable of AS9100 standard and experience with\nreviewing or performing AS9102 First Article Inspections.\n· Advanced understanding of statistical and data analytic skills.\n· Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for\ndevelopment of quality standards, methods, work\ninstructions and procedures for inspection and test of\nmanufactured products.\n· An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and\nTolerancing (GD&T)\nDesired Skills\n· 5+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.\n· Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certified\n· Experience with Minitab, Tableau, and Business Objects for data analytic/dashboard creation.\n· F-35 production operations experience\n· Experience with Low Observable (LO) Finishes/Coating\n· Technology and/or processes\n· Experience with Product-Quality methods either from the quality or manufacturing perspective\n· Ability to effectively navigate complex product and process-related requirements to validate\nnonconformances and develop corrective actions in coordination with DCMA and Production colleagues\n· Experience with Microsoft Office Systems, Shop Floor\nManager (SFM) or similar manufacturing management\nsystems, Product Data Management (PDM) or similar\nengineering database, APRISO Documentation\nSystem (Discrepancy Reports) or similar system\n· American Society for Quality (ASQ): Certified Quality\nEngineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of\nQuality/Organizational Excellence (CMQOE) certification\n· Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration,\ncommunication, and presentations\n· Conduct/coordinate process and product evaluations and assessments\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
