Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the programs life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and support. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Serves on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards; nominates risks and opportunities. Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented and current and implemented. Schedules and ensures assessments of program (e.g. quality audits). Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education\nExperienced knowledge of aerospace product assembly/manufacturing.\nHighly experienced knowledge of problem-solving techniques and analytical analysis\nExperience in an AS9100 environment.\nUS Citizenship Required\nDesired Skills\nMust be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders.\nLean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt).\nFamiliar with SAP and Apriso manufacturing execution systems.\nQuality Material Review Board (MRB) certification.\nExperience creating or maintaining quality command media or documented procedures.\nWorking level knowledge with thermal protection systems, and friction stir welding.\n8yrs Experience with Bachelors degree or 4yrs Experience With Master's degree\nExpert level knowledge of mechanical operations such as drilling, bonding, harnessing, and torquing.\n\nExperienced with composite fabrication and assembly.\n\nExperience leading RCCA and or Failure Review Boards.\n\nExperienced with root cause investigation methods.\n\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
