Develops theories for understanding, characterizing and organizing natural phenomena into a systematic and meaningful pattern for the benefit of project advancement and emerging technologies. May participate in intellectual property evaluations and development of patent applications. May coordinate interdepartmental activities and research efforts.\nSpecific Responsibilities\nThe Low Observable (RCS) engineer will be responsible for supporting test events, data evaluation and analysis, and working across interdisciplinary teams to ensure signature requirements are met on development and sustainment objectives. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nSupport ATF Signature Acceptance Testing & performance of radar cross section (RCS) diagnostics to include generation of aircraft acceptance & failure reports.\nCollaboration with team members to analyze RCS test data and deliver technical presentations to customers and stakeholders.\nEvaluate configuration change impacts to RCS and represent signature IPT in projects related to both development and sustainment initiatives.\nPerform computational electromagnetics (CEM) predictions and use the predicted changes to inform design decisions.\nInterface with government customers, internal stakeholders and supplier teams while communicating technical details to relevant senior leadership.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree or above in one of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and/or technically related degree.\nU.S. Citizenship Required\nAbility to obtain Secret Security Clearance \nDesired Skills\nRadar Cross Section Test Experience and/or (I)SAR imaging\nKnowledge of the F-35 or F-22 airframe design and coating materials/methods\nProficiency in MATLAB coding\nComputer Aided Design (CAD) Experience\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Products\nDemonstrated experience presenting deeply technical work to a variety of audience\nActive Secret Clearance preferred\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
