In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the development of high-quality EGSE systems, and will be responsible for:\nDesigning and developing RF circuits and systems, including amplifiers, filters, and antennas\nPerforming hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF systems using a range of equipment including: Spectrum analyzers to measure and analyze RF signals, Signal generators to generate RF signals for testing, Oscilloscopes to measure and analyze RF waveforms, and Network analyzers to measure and analyze RF network parameters\nDeveloping and implementing test procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with requirements and industry standards\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems with other EGSE components\nDesigning and developing software-defined radio (SDR) systems and interfaces, including waveform development and testing\nTroubleshooting and debugging RF system issues, using a range of tools and techniques\nThis role will involve working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a timely and efficient manner. The RF Engineer will be expected to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting and challenging projects.\nBasic Qualifications\nExperience with RF test and measurement equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.\nAbility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship required\nDesired Skills\nExperience with EGSE systems and applications.\nExperience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.\nExperience with software-defined radio (SDR) systems and interfaces, including waveform development and testing.\nExperience with phases of product lifecycle (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, and TRR).\nUsing tools such as Agilent ADS (Advanced Design System), Ansys HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator), AWR Microwave Office, or similar tool packages.\nCertification and training as a Certified Principal Engineer (CPE), Responsible Engineer, or equivalent.\nRF and/or digital payload test measurement techniques.\nArchitecture, integration, and test of Electronically Steerable Arrays (ESA), Radar Systems, RF and/or digital payloads, Telemetry Tracking & Command (TT&C), or missile communications subsystems.\nDevelopment of Analog/Digital interfaces.\nDesigning active components, such as Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs) , hybrids, Linearized Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (LTWTAs), Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs), Oscillators, frequency converters, etc.\nExperience in managing research or design projects.\nEGSE Design experience.\nAutomation Framework experience.\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $91200.00 - $169400.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
