In this role you will be responsible for:\n- Support the Global Security portfolio of programs by performing payload analysis on world class RF Payloads across various stages in each program’s lifecycle.\n- Perform system design and architecture to identify optimal payload solutions for new program captures.\n- Engage in system integration and test to optimize system performance and calibration, and validate requirement verification.\n- Lead troubleshooting anomaly resolution.\n- Lead deployment and initial performance assessment for critical government national assets.\n- Work closely with other RF Engineers, Box and Sub-systems CPEs, leaders, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure a given program within Global Securities is successful.\n- Partner with customers and program leadership to ensure the success of payload products and milestones.\n- Perform cascade analysis, verification, trades, modeling, calibration, risk/opportunities, support proposal efforts, and payload post-test analysis.\n- Demonstrate subject matter expertise on payload hardware and mission execution\n- Contribute to payload architecture and trade decisions to enable improved payload and mission performance\nBasic Qualifications\nExperience with MATLAB or other coding\nExperience with RF analysis or RF design\nAbility to apply mathematical or physics concepts to problem solving\nSecurity Clearance / Work Authorization:\nTo meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen.\nPrior to starting employment, selected candidates will be required to possess Top Secret clearance. For this position, applicants must possess a currently Active Top Secret security clearance to be considered.\nSelected candidates will be required to obtain, and maintain a TS/SCI clearance\nDesired Skills\nActive TS/SCI clearance\nA team player with the demonstrated ability to participate in cross functional teams and communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with management and peers\nExperience defining end-to-end performance and functionality of RF payloads and/or subsystems, consistent with mission needs and CONOPS\nExperience with the development of specifications and interface definitions for digitally processed RF payloads\nExperience with defining external interfaces for antennas, active/passive RF components, receivers/transmitters, and digital processors\nExperience with certifying and selling off an RF payload or subsystem to the customer\nProven ability to execute major milestone reviews (e.g. SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.)\nExperience with and/or application of AI/ML Data analysis Techniques\nExperience using and programming in Python\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $166900.00 - $309900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
