In this role, you will perform the following:\nSupport multiple phases of RF product lifecycle including design, development, test, and deployment\nEngage with other leaders and subject matter experts to participate in design reviews and provide feedback/input on RF systems and hardware designs\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and deployment of RF systems and hardware\nExample assignments include design, test, and troubleshoot RF hardware systems, including prototype and deliverable hardware.\nBasic Qualifications\nExperience with RF hardware systems. \nExperience with system-level RF performance analysis (e.g. RF communications systems, antenna systems).\nExperience in analysis of active and passive RF hardware, performing cascaded analyses, link and gain/loss budgets, and/or using simulation tools to evaluate hardware designs.\nActive Secret clearance; must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance; US citizenship required.\nDesired Skills\nAbility to engage with leaders, subject matter experts, and individual contributors to develop successful RF communication systems and hardware designs \nAbility to activity listen and collaborate with cross-functional teams\nRF performance simulation (ADS, AWR, SystemVue, or equivalent) and Full-Wave simulation experience (CST, HFSS, or equivalent)\nRF Signal Processing experience desired\nBeam formation experience desired\nAntenna Multipaction / Corona experience desired\nMatlab and/or Python Scripting and analysis desired\nFamiliarity with RF test software and tools\nRF prototyping experience\nFundamental understanding of antenna theory and design\nUnderstands the effects of dynamic antenna gain and phase changes on GPS receiver performance\nRF design experience including knowledge of power amplifiers, microwave integrated circuit design and RF measurement techniques\nExperience with RF parts selection and evaluation\nDemonstrated understanding of RF test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generator, etc.)\nAbility to design and plan for designs to experience flight environments (vibration, temperature, multipaction, corona)\nVendor interface experience, including evaluating vendor solutions\nVendor spec writing and procurement experience\nDeliver value: Describe a time when you were asked to complete a difficult task or project where the odds were against you.
