# Safety Engineer Sr - E3

Standard Job Description We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our company as a Safety Engineer. As a member of our safety and compliance team you will identify, evaluate, and mitigate workplace hazards, audit equipment and processes, and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (such as OSHA and EPA). You will work independently on day-to-day activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build a strong safety culture. You will develop and implement safe working processes, educating all levels of staff on best practices and appropriate equipment usage, as well as make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacement as necessary. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, engineering, or a relevant field. 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in a safety engineering role Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills Desired Skills The candidate is considered an emerging authority in multiple environmental and safety compliance program disciplines and knowledgeable in California regulatory requirements.
