Develops detailed plans and procedures to provide maximum mission support in areas such as orbit dynamics, satellite performance analysis, command and control of on-orbit satellites. Provides technical direction for on orbit mission support, plans for critical vehicle malfunctions and recommends alternate operating techniques to continue maximum mission support. Provides failure analysis of the performance of the orbiting satellites via telemetry data. Utilizes system software to accomplish all spacecraft control tasks and recommends improvements. Analyzes and validates software performance. Performs flight length orbit adjust and daily special event studies.\nBasic Qualifications\n3+ years of related experience\nMust have an active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance\nDemonstrated extensive knowledge of real-time mission operations\nAbility to perform real-time troubleshooting and anomaly resolution\nExperience developing, operating, and testing modern technical systems\nExperience working independently and in technical teams\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills\nDesired Skills\nExperience with satellite operations and subsystems\nExperience with satellite ground control systems\nExemplary written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal team building skills\nto effectively engage team members as well as elevate appropriate issues to management\nExcellent communicator with proven ability to work well in a technical team\nSystems engineering background or exposure which will ensure success at designing and implementing\nsystems within a large, complex, real-time operational system\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
