This Digital Payload Subsystem Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) will :\nManage the crypto, timing, and digital communication units on the payload subsystem. \nProvide supplier oversight, including Failure Review Board (FRB) support and guidance, acceptance of hardware, up to certification of hardware. \nSupport the integrated subsystem through Assembly Test & Launce (ATLO) campaigns.\nSupport Space Vehicle (SV) integrated test activities, including first time operations and environmental testing.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree or higher (Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field preferred)\nExperience with digital communication hardware\nExperience with RF communication systems\nAbility to obtain DoD SECRET security clearance; must be a US citizen\nDesired Skills\nGraduate degree in an engineering/ technical discipline from an accredited college\nExperience in Networking routing/traffic management and troubleshooting\nExperience with Space Systems\nResponsible Systems Engineer (RSE) and/or Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) certification (or equivalent)\nSystems engineering experience including generation and derivation of requirements\nExperience with Systems Integration and Verification\nHardware and/or software troubleshooting experience\nPrevious Space Vehicle and/or Payload Assembly Test & Launch (ATLO) experience\nAbility to work support off-shifts and weekends as needed\nExperience supporting or leading Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with management, and peers\nExperience/Ability to work in a fast paced environment\nPay Information\nFull-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00\nAt Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
