Whether supporting system design, requirements development, architecture, verification, or engineering governance activities, you'll work alongside highly skilled engineering professionals solving real-world problems that matter.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe Senior Systems Engineer's primary responsibilities include:\nSupport complex Defence programs through the application of systems engineering principles across the full engineering lifecycle\nDevelop, analyse and manage requirements, architectures, interfaces, verification activities and other engineering artefacts\nProvide specialist expertise in areas such as requirements management, systems architecture, specialty engineering or verification & validation\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to solve complex technical and program challenges\nContribute to engineering reviews, bids, governance activities and capability development initiatives across the business\nSupport continuous improvement of systems engineering processes, tools, training and best practices\nWhat you’ll bring\nExperience delivering systems or subsystems engineering outcomes within Defence, aerospace, maritime or other complex engineering environments\nExpertise in one or more systems engineering disciplines such as requirements management, systems architecture, specialty engineering, or verification & validation\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities\nExperience working across the systems engineering lifecycle, from concept and design through to integration, test and acceptance\nA degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant industry experience\nExposure to MBSE, Agile development methodologies, Defence capability domains or test automation approaches will be highly regarded\nNV1 security clearance and ability to handle Export Controlled information\nProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice\nDon't meet every requirement?\nIf you're excited by this opportunity but don't meet every criterion, we'd still love to hear from you.
